Configure GPO Policies for AVD FSLogix User Profiles

 1. Download FSLogix Group Policy Template Files:

1. To enable the FSLogix GPO policies, you need to have the FSLogix .admx and .adml files in the Central Store. Once these files are in the central repository, you can use the Group Policy Management Editor, available through the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC), to edit domain-based policy objects

2. Download the latest version of FSLogix:

3. Extract the File.

2. Copy .admx and .adml files to Central Store:

1. Locate the two files (fslogix.admx and fslogix.adml) and copy them to the central store configuration.
2. Copy the .admx file in the PolicyDefinitions folder.

3. Copy the .adml file in the en-US folder inside PolicyDefinitions folder.

3. Create the Group Policy:

1. Go the Server Manager->Tools->Group Policy Management.

2. Navigate to the desired OU where the session hosts are located, as these are computer-based policies.
3. Right click on the OU and select, "Create a GPO in this domain, and Link it here"

4. Give a suitable name as per customer's naming conventions.
    Click OK.

5. Right click on the Policy just created. Click on Edit.

You can configure the policies according to customer requirements, but these are the minimum GPOs that are good to have in the environment.

6. Go to Computer Configuration--Policies--Administrative Templates--FSLogix--Profile Containers.
